Description

This amazing pitcher is dated 1837-1897, in commemoration of Queen Victoria's 60-year reign, her Diamond Jubilee.  This is a stoneware salt glazed pottery piece, with raised decoration all around.  It says, "She wrought her people lasting good" and also "Dei Gratia = Victoria = Queen & Empress."  Note also the two likenesses of the queen.  See photo for bottom marks, including the Doulton Lambeth stamp.  This piece is in good condition with no damage found.  It is approx. 7 1/4" tall.

Also included in this lot are two English coins with Queen Victoria.  These are bonus items with this beautiful pitcher, just to keep the small collection together.  Bid to win!
